What is stubbornness? What does it mean to be stubborn? Jot down some ideas.



Do you understand what it means to “give up your selfish ways and follow Jesus”? Why is it hard to stop being stubborn?

How do we begin to recognize our need for change?



Joel said we have a “need for the cross”. What does he mean?
