Read the Staff Manual

The Counselor Staff Manual is now available online! Inside is a collection of policies, procedures, guidelines, and words of wisdom that will help you perform your job excellently. Each staff member is required to read and understand its contents. Don’t take it for granted because you grew up coming to camp. Every summer is an opportunity to learn something new.

This resource is a work in progress. It has benefitted from many hours of writing and editing from Camp Directors, other administrative staff, and volunteers.

Putting the manual online is meant to reclaim time from our Pre-Camp training. By arriving at camp having read the updated manual, we can dive into more hands-on learning and experience–things that can’t be learned from a page or screen. We think your time is valuable, so any counselor who completes this course ahead of time will receive a bonus on top of their summer salary.
