Giving to NF
Northern Frontier Camp is fueled and funded by the generous contributions of our Alumni, Family & Friends. Although we often consider “giving” to refer to financial offering, many choose to give as dedicated prayer partners and or as skilled volunteers.
Three Ways to Give
Giving through Donation
As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Northern Frontier Camp seeks to partner with financially generous families, individuals, churches, and businesses. Our annual budget is met through the gifts made toward the following designations:
General Fund
Giving to the general fund will help support Northern Frontier’s operational budget. This includes our counselors’ salaries, the food served in our dining hall, medical supplies, transportation costs and much more.
Chris and Kelly Studley
Chris and Kelly Studley began serving at Northern Frontier full time in 2016. They have three children, Rileigh, Hudson, and Rowan. As a young man, Chris came to Northern Frontier as a camper and counselor. Later, after marrying and starting a family, the Studley family returned for several summers. Chris now serves as the Camp Director and Kelly works as both the Secretary and Registrar. Donations given to the Studley family’s fund will go directly to supporting their salaries.
Camper Scholarship
Each summer, hundreds of boys and men attend Northern Frontier. We work hard to make their experience as action-packed as possible, but also affordable for anyone who wants to attend. However, costs can still remain a determining factor for some family. A generous gift toward the Camper Scholarship fund will help get those to camp who cannot otherwise afford it.
Capital Reserve Fund
This fund helps support our general facility improvements. This is separate from the capital fundraising campaigns we have done. Money donated to our reserve fund will help maintain our current buildings. It supports roof repair, door and window replacement, repainting the floors, and other general upkeep repairs.
Giving through Prayer
Prayer Requests
- Pray that God would bring continued unity among our summer staff.
- Ask for God’s hand will safeguard our staff and campers, protecting them from injury.
- Grow a desire for Christ among our campers and staff.
- Submit our hearts and lives so that servant hearts will be cultivated.
- Thank God for all He has provided Northern Frontier.
- Glorify Christ through Northern Frontier!
Northern Frontier Prayer Net
We’re seeking friends and alumni to pray for our summer collegian counselors. After joining the Northern Frontier Prayer Net you will be given the name of staff member. We ask that you pray for these young men with intentionality. You will have the opportunity to connect with the young man and encourage him. Ask him for specific prayer needs as well as praises for the work God has performed.
Giving through Volunteering
Each Spring we host volunteers at camp for several Work Weekends and your help is not only welcome but necessary. We have a consistent need for both skilled and unskilled workers.
These weekends are critical to getting camp in shape for the arrival of our staff and campers. Your work weekend efforts will help to produce spiritual fruit this summer. What better way to give to Northern Frontier than committing a weekend of service preparing NF for the coming season?
Do you have a specific skill set that you would be willing to lend to special projects at camp? We’d love to connect with you!
