Position Summary

Collegian Counselors are the frontline disciple-makers of Northern Frontier, leading cabins of boys in a Christ-centered community. At age 18 or older, Collegian Counselors carry primary responsibility for the spiritual, emotional, social, and physical well-being of campers. They model Christlike manhood, lead Bible Explorations, and mentor Junior Counselors while fully engaging in the adventurous life of camp.

  • Provide daily discipleship and oversight for campers in all areas of life.

This role serves as the primary point of contact for many parents and guests, assisting with record-keeping, scheduling, and general office tasks. By serving with excellence and warmth, the Assistant helps ensure smooth camp operations while reflecting Christ in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer phones, emails, and assist with parent communication.
  • Support camper check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Maintain office records, forms, and filing systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Assist with financial or registration paperwork as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to directors and program staff.
  • Handle confidential information with integrity. Help with other camp responsibilities as assigned.

Camp Photographer

Position Summary

The Camp Photographer/Videographer captures the story of Northern Frontier through photos and video, highlighting campers’ adventures, friendships, and faith experiences. This role involves documenting daily activities, special events, and camp traditions for use in parent updates, social media, and future promotional materials. By telling the camp’s story visually, the Photographer helps families feel connected and alumni stay engaged.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos of campers, staff, and activities.
  • Edit, organize, and upload weekly collections for parents and social media.
  • Ensure each camper is photographed at least once during the week.
  • Document special events, chapel, and evening campfires.
  • Take administrative staff portraits and group photos.
  • Maintain photo organization and archives.
  • Serve as a positive presence at camp activities, engaging with staff and campers.
  • Participate in Staff Bible Exploration and camp traditions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Age 18+.

  • Experience with photo/video editing software.
  • Organizational skills and ability to work independently.
