Northern Frontier

Your Home at Camp

At Northern Frontier, your cabin becomes more than just a place to sleep—it’s your home for the week. Whether you’re here as a father and son or as part of our Stockade or Battalion programs, cabin life is where friendships form, faith deepens, and the best memories are made.

Tree Climber Cabins
(Fathers & Sons, Ages 6–8)

You’ll bunk with up to five other father–son pairs and one staff or volunteer leader. Each cabin has bunk beds with comfortable mattresses, cabin lights, and an electrical outlet. Dads and sons share a bunk, and you’ll be a short walk from a nearby wash house with bathrooms and shower stalls. It’s a cozy setup that keeps you close to the heart of camp while giving you space to rest and recharge.

Stockade Cabins
(Ages 8–11)

Stockade campers live in cabins with up to eight boys and two or three staff members. Each camper shares a bunk bed with another boy from the cabin, and everyone has a comfortable dorm-style mattress. The cabins are just a short walk from wash houses with bathrooms and showers.

Cabin groups do most of their week together—learning camp skills like archery, air rifle, slingshot, rocketry, fishing, and paddling. They also compete in camp-wide games like the Frog Race, the Rumble, and Carnival Night. Throughout the week, cabins earn points toward the Honor Cabin Award, which comes with a legendary ice cream sundae celebration on the final night. Each cabin also heads out on an overnight camping trip together and gathers daily to explore God’s Word through Bible Exploration—guided discussions led by their counselor.

Battalion Cabins
(Ages 12–16)

Battalion campers enjoy a similar cabin setup: bunk beds, comfortable mattresses, and a short walk to the wash house. While their daytime activities are chosen individually during registration, the cabin still anchors their week. Cabins compete in group games, head out for overnights together, and share meaningful Bible Exploration sessions that challenge and encourage each camper in their faith journey.
